🧵 Handmade From the First Stitch

Each Button-Eyed Stitchling begins with a felt body cut from a pattern that I designed myself. The doll is then completely hand-stitched, stuffed, and decorated one detail at a time.

Additional pieces—such as bones, skeleton details, hearts, patches, facial features, teeth, or other unusual shapes—are individually drawn and cut freehand. These details are not made from purchased patterns, so their slight differences help give every Stitchling its own character.

Depending on the individual design, a Stitchling may include:

I create Button-Eyed Stitchlings whenever inspiration strikes and I feel drawn to sit down and sew by hand. Hand-stitching is a peaceful and meaningful process for me, and each doll is made slowly, thoughtfully, and with genuine love and care.

Some Stitchlings are cheerful and colorful, while others are creepy, mischievous, gothic, strange, or wonderfully weird.
